3 Books For Southern Expats Missing Home

3 Books For Southern Expats Missing Home

Remember how I said I was going to be writing for some other outlets in addition to my blog? Well, I'm proud to announce that my first piece for Deep South Magazine, "3 Books for Southern Expats Missing Home" has been published!

Just between you and me, my favorite of the three books is Ancient Oceans of Central Kentucky. I suggest you get yourself a copy STAT.

If you enjoy the piece, I'd love for you to tweet it, share it on Facebook, comment, or otherwise let Deep South Magazine know that you like the kind of things I'm writing for them. Like I always say, contributing to a publication is a lot like being invited to someone's house for dinner: you want to be a gracious guest and see that you're invited back.

Now make your mama proud (and me very thankful), by sending some traffic their way. I really appreciate it when you support my work. <3

I've also got a life update! At the time you're reading this, I'll be on vacation. My boyfriend and I are going on a mini road trip---Niagara Falls, camping in Vermont, a couple of days on a beach in Maine, Boston, and back to Columbus.

I plan on being pretty unplugged most of the time, but bookish destinations are pretty inevitable for us, so I'll be posting any bookish updates on Instagram and Twitter at @fixedbaroque and in the Off the Beaten Shelf Facebook group, which you should totally join if you haven't yet! It's a fun place with some cool bibliophiles.

While I'm gone, comment on this post and let me know what topics you'd like me to cover in the future. I'm always open to feedback!

Also, if you're reading this, I really appreciate you. Thanks for letting me be in your inbox and on your interwebs.
