I'm super excited about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them because I've loved Harry Potter for the past 15 years and I'm thrilled the franchise is continuing in new ways. 

(Believe me, I'm just as upset as anyone that Johnny Depp, a recently revealed domestic abuser, was cast. If you choose not to see the film for that reason I totally understand.)

But Harry and I go way back. I first started reading the books at 11, the same age Harry was when he got his Hogwarts letter. Two years ago I adopted a cat and named her J.K. Meowling because she chose me---much in the same way the wand chooses the wizard. And earlier this year my fiancé proposed to me with the help of a Harry Potter book. 

My love for all things Harry Potter runs deep, and in light of the franchise continuing with Fantastic Beasts, the local newspaper, The Columbus Dispatch, interviewed me for a recent article!
