Hot Off the Shelf: People In the Room by Norah Lange
When it rains, it pours, they say!
While I was gone on my honeymoon, not one, not two, but THREE reviews I'd submitted to magazines were published. These are all books I'm super excited about, so I'll be sharing them with you once a week over the next three weeks in addition to my regular Monday posts. So if you're looking for some fun, fascinating, new small press books, I've got you!
First up, my review of People In the Room by Norah Lange published in Entropy Magazine.
If you're looking for weird, ghostly, feminist fiction that's also a book in translation, this is for you. It's definitely one of the weirdest books I've read in a while, but hey, weird is a selling point for me lately. It's pretty short and you can totally read it in a day, so if you're behind on your Goodreads goal it's a good one for playing catch up.
I'm sharing my writing for other publications more on my blog because 1) writing is hard, 2) I'm proud of the work I'm producing, and 3) I hope that since you like my blog, you'll like the other things I write too! I'd really appreciate it if you'd check out this review and support my work. That also lets the magazine know people like what I write and they should publish my stuff more often. :)
