Hear Me Tell the Story of my 15-Year Library Saga LIVE

Some people are haunted the past. Others are haunted by ghosts. But I am haunted by libraries.

So begins the story of my 15-year library saga.

You know the ending--that I'm now in grad school for library science--but if you knew the mishaps and misadventures I had with the library for the majority of my life, you'd wonder how I could ever want to grow up to be a librarian.

It's quite possibly one of the funniest stories you'll hear in all of 2015. And I'm not just saying that because it's my story. The handful of people who know it will vouch for me.

I'm going to be telling this story live at Out With the Old: Stories About Change with Arc Light Stories in Birmingham, AL. Arc Light is the local version of the Moth Radio Hour, so there will be several storytellers with me all telling their stories live and unscripted.

The event will be taking place at the Avon Theater (2829 7th Ave. S. in Birmingham) in the Lakeview District at 7:30pm on Saturday, January 31st.

Tickets are only $5, so I want to see you there with your momma, your grandma, your cousin twice removed, your in/significant other, and your cat that you sneaked in in your backpack. You can buy all of them tickets at the door.
