My SECOND book!!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’m going to have a second book out!

My poetry collection, We Had Mansions, will be published by Diode Editions in 2025!

We’re aiming for sometime in April since it’s both National Poetry Month and Arab American Heritage Month. We Had Mansions is about my Palestinian family, being a journalist during the genocide of my people in which Western media has utterly failed us all, getting divorced and falling in love during these trying times, and my relationship to nature.

All this happened because I submitted my manuscript to the book contest at Diode Editions and was one of the three full-length manuscripts chosen for publication for 2025. One of the things I love about Diode is that I’m not the token Palestinian either. Not only have they published Palestinians in the past, Hind Shoufani, one of the other winners of the contest, is Palestinian as well.

Since We Had Mansions just got acquired, I don’t have a ton of info to share at the moment, but rest assured, I’ll keep you posted! I can’t believe I’m going to have two books out within nine months. Wowza!
