Y'all know I'm a bargain loving girl, especially when it comes to books. I scour thrift stores, library book sales, and yard sales looking for my next reading fix. But there are some books that have been on my TBR (to be read list) for eons because they never turn up. And what about those new books just out in hardback? Don't count on finding them either. What's a broke bookish girl to do?!
That's when I turn to ebooks. For a long time I thought, I don't have an e-reader and I can't read on my phone or laptop. But the truth is, I CAN. I read social media posts and news articles on my phone all day. Why couldn't I read a book? I read long (and occasionally dreary) academic journal articles on my laptop all day. Again, I ask, so why couldn't I read a book?
I know what you're thinking. eBooks are expensive. Well, yes, sometimes they are. But there's hope for bargain lovers ahead.
To foster my own e-reading experiences and to encourage my readers to follow me on this reading adventure, I've got a curated list of 22 books, some of which I've read and loved and others I'm dying to read. The titles range from YA to classics and fiction to nonfiction. And thanks to Librify, a new social reading app, you can get any of the books on my list for %50 off by using offer code FIXEDBAROQUE. I know ebooks can be expensive, so I want to share the love of discounts!
What books on my Librify list are on your TBR? What have your e-reading experiences been like thus far? Tell me in the comments!
Note: This post is sponsored by Librify. I get 50% discounts on these ebooks just like my readers. Happy reading!
