Hot Off the Shelf: Killer by Kimmy Walters

Hot Off the Shelf: Killer by Kimmy Walters

If there's one good thing 2016 did for me, it resurrected my love of poetry. It had lain dormant for a couple of years, but I read so many excellent volumes of poetry last year that I'm more of a fan than ever.

One such volume is Killer by Kimmy Walters.

It's smart, funny, insightful, and accessible, so you won't have that "what the hell is she saying?!" feeling. If you're looking to get into (or back into) poetry, this collection is a good place to start.

You can see all the reasons I adore Kimmy's poetry in my latest book review/author interview for PANK Magazine.

If you're enjoying my work, please share and comment on the post so PANK knows you like my work and is incentivized to publish more of it. I'd be grateful!

What's a poetry collection you recently loved? Tell me in the comments below!
