Thursday Word Day: Dilatory

Happy #ThursdayWordDay, word nerds!

This week's word is soooo applicable to my life right now. I mean, between all the wonderful books I'm reading (and want to be reading) it's been a challenge to focus on my schoolwork this week. The struggle is REAL, y'all.

And can you blame me? I'm currently reading All the Light We Cannot See and next up is, of course, Go Set a Watchman

The word of the week (and the word of my life right now) is dilatory. Dictionary.com says, "dilatory: adj. 1) tending to delay or procrastinate; slow; tardy. 2) intended to cause delay, gain time, or defer decision."

I've basically been dilatory at all my responsibilities. What can I say... Books will do that to you.
