Happy #ThursdayWordDay, word nerds!

In the world of words, today's word is royalty. It's regius--and nothing like Regis and Kelly.

Dictionary.com says, "regius: adj. 1) of or belonging to a king. 2) (of a professor in a British university) holding a chair founded by or dependent on the sovereign."

I was just reading along in one of the textbooks for my Museum Studies class and happened upon it! Spontaneous vocab is always fun.

Got a favorite funky vocab word? Share it in the comments below along with a link to your blog and I just might feature you for a future Thursday Word Day post!
