3 Unflinching Southern Memoirs Published By Small Presses (+ Life Update)

3 Unflinching Southern Memoirs Published By Small Presses (+ Life Update)

I gotta say, it's been a good year. I started making a concerted effort to get my books-oriented writing published and it's going well! I had a piece published in a reputable literary magazine, a first for me, and I had my first publication in a regional magazine, Deep South Magazine.

I promised to keep you posted every step of the way and you've been supportive. I'm immensely grateful for that.

I'm also excited to announce that I have a second piece in Deep South Magazine! It's called "3 Unflinching Southern Memoirs Published By Small Presses." Crapalachia is one of my favorite books of the past year, so it got another shout out on the blog a few weeks ago.

If you like the pieces I'm writing for Deep South and this blog, please like, share, and comment on the post. That lets Deep South know you're enjoying my work, which will incentivize them to publish more of my writing. And I'll be immensely grateful! Even more than I already am.

And while you're here I want to whet your palette for some future posts on the blog. I recently got engaged and my beloved proposed with a book! He's a keeper. :) More on that soon.

On top of that, I'm going to New York City soon and will have updates of my literary adventures. I had a blast last time, (see the proof here and here) so I'm looking forward to sharing even more with you this time around.

Got any favorite literary spots in NYC and/or bibliophile wedding ideas? Share them in the comments below! :)
